Did you have a wonderful wedding day? Would you change anything?
My husband and I married on March 17, 2003. Yes it was St. Patty's Day. We are not the traditional type and decided to go to Las Vegas for the wedding so just picked a fun day and a day we (ok he) would never have an excuse for forgetting. We flew out a few days before to see some sights and got married at the chapel at the Imperial Palace Hotel. It had red velvety heart shaped chairs and fake flowers and a crazy minister and weird, cheesy fun written all over it and it was perfect for us. We had invited everyone to the ceremony, followed by of course a dinner at the Circus Circus buffet and then we had a reception back home. To our surprise we had about 30 guests at the wedding in Vegas which was awesome! We spent a couple of days to ourselves in Vegas after the wedding and then returned home for the reception. It was perfect and we'd do it again. Actually my sister is trying to get us to renew our vows in some exotic tropical location so she has an excuse for a vacation and we can get a package discount for a wedding special. We'll see what happens...
