Book Review: When Sparrows Fall by Meg Moseley

This was a book about a widow who was part of a religious cult as it seemed that she was unable to escape after her husband's death.  It was an eye opening drama and love story.  It shows the many aspects of cult like religions and how some may be wanting out but have no idea how to get there.  This family's isolation is opened up after a tragic accident leaves the widow unable to care for her children alone.  It shows the strength and dedication of people but especially the loyalty of children and family alike.

I enjoyed the book immensely, way more so than I thought after reading the description.  I did not in any way agree with the religious ideas but it seemed neither did the widow.  I would recommend this book for some light reading but there is no life lesson in it as I suspected there would be.

I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review.  Check it out on Amazon, they have regular and ebooks.
