HELP!

We are battling the WORST case of diaper rash right now.  Any helpful hints for getting rid of it? I'm feeling horrible each time I have to rub the cream and Charlie is doing his best to crawl away and scream like a mad man.  HELP!

Well, it has been awhile since we had one in diapers. Leave the diaper off as long as you can to let air get to it. Also, I would use warm wash cloths rather than wipes because it always burned so bad. I used the aquaphor cream at times when they were really sore. But, I wouldn't hesitate to go to your local pharmacy and ask them for the best over the counter cream to use. Sometimes the best stuff isn't something we would normally think of to use for a diaper rash. Good luck!

I LOVE Boudreaux's Butt Paste. Last time I bought it, Target had it in their samples section, which gives you plenty! Also, I've found that if at all possible, leaving the diaper off helps a lot too. Poor little guy...I hope it clears up soon!

Are you sure it's just a diaper rash? Could be a yeast infection in which case you'll most likely need a prescription cream. Hope it's getting better.

You could try straight zinc oxide cream also. It's the only thing that's ever worked on Zoe when she was in diapers. Check the pharmacy section by the ointments and creams.

Thanks ladies. I got a couple of different kinds at the store today so we have some on hand. I definitely let him have naked play for about an hour without any carpet issues so hopefully its cleared up fast. Poor little man is teething too so his world is not fun (hence neither is mine).
