Early Saturdays.....

This morning I got up at 3am to volunteer at a local church and their food distribution ministry.  It was their first ever event and I'm so grateful to have found it.

The concept is bring $5 and you get to shop through the sanctuary filling up your bags, cart, arms, anything you can.  No License, disability, or proof of low income required.  You have $5 and you can play.  It was AMAZING!

So as volunteers we got to shop too!  Here is what I brought home which isn't even close to what over 200 people got for $5!!! 

It has to be over $50 in food.  I  definitely going to stay a part of this awesome opportunity.  It's been a great morning!!
